Theo's Thoughts :: Week 11

 This week Theo is perfecting his ooh's and ahh's. He's really starting to make some fun conversation. Especially with daddy. We still have fussy times during the day, specifically the dinner time hours. But things are getting more fun with Theo each day. He is starting to enjoy tummy time and is really getting excited about the world around him. He's batting at toys and making some efforts to play with toys.

Theo's Thoughts :: Week 10

 This week has had its ups and downs. Babies can be such a mystery. Most days I can predict Theo's fussy moments but lately it's been a bit tricky. I keep telling myself the crying will eventually subside.  Anton was similar at this age. You can see the light at the end of the tunnel but there are still days when the crying and fussing is tough to figure out. Theo has been awake for longer periods of time and is really starting to make eye contact and mimic sounds. He is growing like a weed and is already in size 2 diapers and wearing his 6 month clothes. He loves to be carried around and worn in a carrier. He's also started taking a liking to being held during daytime naps. With Anton I was worried about creating bad habits, but now that I know these snuggly baby moments go by in the blink of an eye. I've been happily holding him while I rest during the day. I have a tendency to get antsy when I sit still, but babies are really good at fixing your tendencies! Theo has been a great night sleeper from the get go, and by great I mean he sleeps 4-6 hour stretches at a time. I'll take it!
